Today's Rising Sun, Cloud, Spider and Harvest

Rising Sun

Cloud "雲 ; クモ ; Kumo" and Spider "蜘蛛 ; クモ ; Kumo"

Cloud and Spider have the same pronunciation "Kumo" in Japanese.

Last harvest for the year

  1. Hero,
Thanks for the lesson about clouds and spiders...does kumo also mean spun cotton candy? They all have that same wispy appearance.
I too harvested the last of the peppers yesterday.

  2. Greg san thank you for your comment. I am very glad to have it.

Cotton candy is called "Wata-ame." in Japanese. "Wata" means cotton and "ame" means candy-- it is as same as in English.

    Wata-ane, "綿飴 ワタアメ"
