I am Japanese and live here with my wife about 100 km away from Tokyo Japan.
I would like to write off nothing out of ordinary at our house in English with some Japanese.
As a matter of cause, I will attache some pictures with my words.

Pheasant's eyes [Fukujuso (福寿草)]
This Fukujuso came from her cousin's garden several years ago. The flowers can announce arrival of Spring. But we didn't realize these opening of the flowers yesterday.
福寿草(Fukujuso) means a happy plant. 福(Fuku) means a happy or lucky, 寿(ju) means celebrate, 草(so) means a plant.
