I am Japanese and live here with my wife about 100 km away from Tokyo Japan.
I would like to write off nothing out of ordinary at our house in English with some Japanese.
As a matter of cause, I will attache some pictures with my words.

Pumpkin Vilage (カボチャ村 Kabocha Mura)
The both cats and the penguin are debutant in this blog.
AyeYai bought the both pumpkins, but the entrance decked with them.
AyeYai makes sometimes pumpkin pudding and tempura, but it's common to make boiled pumpkin in here.
It seems that some Japanese kindergarten children carve it. AyeYai has a American guy who works for a kindergarden. I heard he seems to be enjoying to make it every Hallowe'en Party with the children.
Here in the US, we make two things out of pumpkins: pumpkin pie, and jack-o-lanterns! Does anybody in Japan carve silly faces into pumpkins?

Unfortunately we never do.
