Our son back to our home from Tokyo last year, yesterday.
But he went to play golf with his friend, after ate the new year dished.

Radish and Miso soup (大根と味噌汁)

These become a radish.

The right side is amorous radish.

These are side dishes for today's breakfast.

This radish Miso soup had very good taste.

First freezing (初氷 ハツゴオリ Hatsu Goori)

This place is a sink for the tap in our garden.

It must be first freezing this season.

But MA in US had a first freezing on 18/November in this season.

MA latitude is higher than here. So it stands to reason two different timings.

Ant cow (アブラムシ Aburamushi)

Marna san, thank you for your comment.
I have several dots on the petals of rose are interested in.
So I asked AyeYai for shooting a photograph at the point with her camera.

The both pictures taken by her with super macro condition.

You know what these are ant cows!!
Can you live in winter? I asked them unconsciously!!

Watching the rose blossoming

This is today's the rose . There are a white and a pink flowers on the same plant. Why!

The cause is blossom timing or something, which one?

It's today's the flower.

Unusually warm winter? (暖冬 ダントウ Danto)

This is the harvest of green again.

Still we can harvest in spite of winter. Something is amiss!!

It's the green cookery, ohitashi in Japanese.

The boiled green is a very typical Japanese cooking.

English Haiku (Eigo Haiku 英語俳句 ｴｲｺﾞﾊｲｸ )

This is an English Haiku which was created by my blog friends.
Like a burrito
Wrapped snug and tight in my crib
Drifting off to sleep
They are nice young couple in US. I love their life stile.

Parents gentleness are expressed in this Haiku.
What a happy their son!!!

I did not know English Haiku.
Before they told me it via their blog.
What a fantastic English Haiku too!!!!

Cyclamen on the table in our drawing room

We don't use the drawing room very often.
I was in this room after a long interval this evening.

I found out the cyclamen which was given by AyeYai's brother with the pot.
What a pretty!

Very pleased with the concert

It is a landscape of cleanup stage after the concert.

This concert is the second time around for me.

I was very pleased with this concert more than the last concert.

Because my stand was central stage, and there were four solo singers of each part. Additionally I had a baritone in m face.

From the first to third movement's, I could listen with rapt attention just at the back orchestra. I certainly was ethereal music, and could be enraptured by the beautiful music.

And them the fourth movement, I could be enjoying sing in chorus too.

Funny expression-2 (奇妙な表現)

It's just exiting after finished our performance. We could see still a lot of audience.

And now, regarding a funny expression at training.

The voice trainer says to us "When you are singing, you should vocalize from back of the head.

ボイストレーナーの彼女は、後頭部から声を出しなさいと言う。

"from back of the head"??? How should I do? I can not do that.

”後頭部から声を出せ”？？？　どの様に出すの？　そんなことできるわけがない！！！

Holly olive flower (柊の花 Hiiragi no Hana)

It's unexpected flower.

This is the Holly olive.

The flower season is from October to November.

But today is December 17.

Something isn't right. It's warmer-than-normal.

Rose of a different color (色違いの薔薇)

The both rose flowers are from the same plant.
The white one is growing in door, the pink one is growing out door.


The different color was caused by changes in the environment.
This phenomenon teaches me a renewed recognition of importance of environment for organism.
But our nurturing had been over.

Funny expression-1 (奇妙な表現)

This is individual exercise of the orchestra.


Our philharmonic chorus has one director, one voice trainer and one piano accompanist.
Since I joined in the philharmonic chorus, some expressions which the voice trainer says are continuing to get across me.

For example,
She usually says to us "when you are singing, you should make a vertical voice.
（ボイストレーナーの先生は、立てに声を出しなさいと何時も言う。）

Vertical Voice?!? I can not understand nor make it.
I don't know how I do make it.

BEETHOVEN's "Ninth Symphony"

This is the satage of today's the concert.

We have played " AN DIE FREUDE" with Gunma Philharmonic Orchestra.

Our perfomance was good success. There were ringing applause in the concert hole.

Pull up the weeds (草むしり ｸｻﾑｼﾘ Kusamushiri)

The weeds are still growing also.
I have pulled then today. After that the place are not too heavy.

Preparing bloom (開花の準備 Kaika no Junbi)

It's the brilliant rose of the parent tree.

It's preparing bloom.

It seems that those buds will blossom out in new year.

This is the rose on the shelf by the kitchen window.

Yes, It's the branch of that rose.

The harvest is for the first time in twenty days.
