I am Japanese and live here with my wife about 100 km away from Tokyo Japan.
I would like to write off nothing out of ordinary at our house in English with some Japanese.

Lily and Cicada's shell
This is today's picture of a lily in the morning. What a beautiful!!
I found out five cicada's shells in our garden again.
There is a Haiku to have sounds of cicadas as Kigo(seson words) by Matsuo Basho. --------------------- -Shizukesaya (moment of quietness) - Iwani shimiiru (penetrating a rock) - Semi no koe (sound of cicadas) -----------------------
*How do you like the following emendation?

Is there a Japanese children's song about cicadas? I seem to remember singing such a song in school, long ago. . .
The song's name must be "Mushi no Koe". [the sound of insects]
ReplyDeleteName of insects are Green tree cricket, Japanese bell cricket, Cricket, Mecopoda nipponensis and Hexacentrus juponicus.
