I am Japanese and live here with my wife about 100 km away from Tokyo Japan.
I would like to write off nothing out of ordinary at our house in English with some Japanese.
As a matter of cause, I will attache some pictures with my words.

One of typical Japanese sight (drying radish)
There are lot of radishes which are hanged out to dry. These dried radishes are material for making one of Japanese pickle. The Japanese pickle is called Takuwan in Japanese.
Japanese pickles are the best! I didn't know that pickled radishes were dried first. What a wonderful sight!
