Murasakishikibu （紫式部）

This tree is named Murasakishikibu has defoliated, so I lopped today.


This was before defoliating with a lot of purple pyrenes.

Strange phenomenon （異変）

Today, I found out a lizard under a planter in our garden.
It seems that the lizard has entered into hibernation.
At the same time,


We can see the flowers of Shibazakura,

and a flower of Strawberry in our garden.


The both use to be blooming in Spring.

I tried remodeling our garden this month.

We use to enjoy the floral fragrance every year.


Today I have done blanch lopping when my wife went out.

Why did she said such a thing?

The resting-place of Strawberries （苺の越冬場所）

This place is the resting -place of strawberries from Jun to October.
The construction is accomplishment. And all strawberries moved to their field for producing fruits.

The strawberries used to be moved to here from the strawberry filed after finished harvestry. After the harvestry of strawberry, we can be enjoying sweet corns at the same filed.

A lot of the branches were cut. So you can see the stocks.

Three years ago, this come from the garden of my wife's father.

In this year, it had some buds, but it did not bloom.

Shape of seven years ago

American Cherry #1 （西のアメリカンチェリー）

Today's victim was an American Cherry #1.
It passed for seven years from planting.

But it still doesn't do full bloom.

It had a couple flowers on this year.

So my wife said you should cut down it.

Holly olive #1 （正面の柊）

Today's morning, I did branch lopping of the Holly olive.

My wife loved this looks, but I cut it like above looks.

When she saw it, she got savage with me.

Japanese quince with ?? （紅梅と不明の木）

Today I lopped the Japanese quince which is standing in the center of the lower tree.
It showy red flowers in early spring. But I don't know name of the lower tree.

This is the tree which my wife lopped.

But I didn't like what she did, so I did branch lopping again.

If she knows that, she must be saying " I never do anythings".
