#005 Flower Cleyera japonica(榊 さかき Sakaki)

I did branch lopping last November 28.
I cut a lot of branch.

Fortunately It have flowers.

#004 Flower Japnese Camellia (Tsubaki 椿 つばき)

This is a flower of Japanese Camellia.
椿（Tsubaki つばき　ツバキ）

We have three kind of words, Kanji, Hiraga and Katakana.
Kanji is "椿 ", Hiragana is "つばき" and Katakan is "ツバキ"
We pronunce it "Tsubaki" in Japnese!

#003 Flower Pansy (ﾊﾟﾝｼﾞｰ)

There are four colors flowers of Pansy Plants in our garden.

Have a delightful week

We had a delightful week with our grandsons recently.


They stayed at our house with their mother from last Wednesday till this Tuesday.

He is just two years old and he can speak.

It seems that his brother is so insightful.
But all of children must be genius.

Unfortunately, the plant was died down by hard Winter.

I planted this cherry today.

The deadwood was cut like this today.

The cherry name is Sato Nishiki.

There are two American cherries which do not bear fruit.

Spring Equinox Day (春分の日 彼岸)

It's a national holiday today!
Since this is believed to be when the spirits ancestors return to this world, people visit their family graves, dean them, offer flowers and burn incense.

I offered these daffodils which were in my garden.

#002 Flower HotpkenoZA (仏の座)

We found out the Hotokenosa on February 19, last year.
But I found it yesterday. This season must be Hard Winter!

Second Snowing

The snowman was made by his mother.

The snowing was a big NEWS in Tokyo area.

Waste Flowers (無駄花 Mudabana むだばな ﾑﾀﾞﾊﾞﾅ)

These are Strawberry flowers in our garden.

These blossomed out last month and two month ago.

These are waste flowers, the blooms must be too early.

But one flower bore fruit like this.

Even if it's deep of winter.

Entrance Art (Japanese Flower arrangment 生け花 Ikebana）

This is the entrance art of our house.
The Ikebana is work of Aye Yai.

My uncle passed away on 12 Feb. 2012.
I and AyeYai were in his funeral ceremony 15/Feb.
He was 90 years old.

Hard Study (猛勉強 もうべんきょう Mobenkyo）

Second Harveast! ( Jabara 柑橘類 Citrus )

This is the fruit of Japara.

Taste of it was so bad, it was almost Lemon taste.

I took one and eat it yesterday.

First Harvest in this year!

I picked Kakina yesterday.

We can see yellow flowers on this Spring.

These are yesterday dinner.

Hard Winter (厳冬 GENTO げんとう ゲントウ)

There are some rain water pails in our garden.
I could find out a ice plat in each pails every year.
The hard winter made heavy Ice like this.

This thickness is more 10 cm.

Family new year party in Shinjuku - 4

They are eating a snack in their house the next day of the party.

I set up this rail track for young grandson.

Now his brother is enjoying with the track, when he go out for shopping with his mother.

This snowman was made by their father before ten days.

The cold air system keeps this snowman for 10 days.

It's still staying on Japanese islands

After I took this picture, I had to make toward my house with AyeYai.

We had good week end in Tokyo.

We are in a train on the way home from the party.

His brother is sleeping in the train.
