Suddenly it began brief snowing this morning.

It was passing snowing.

It was snowing for one hour.

There are little accumulation of snow.
And the snow will disappear like a bubble.

An incident on the west peach branch

There are a few peach branches.

There are not many bud on the branches also.

The reason why last branch lopping was too early.

I will cut back on the lopping this year.

Our Children's Musical Boxes

These were musical boxes which our children got as a remembrance at their piano recital on 6/Dec. /1992.
Left box is playing Mickey Mouse March, left one is playing it's the small world.

Now our grandson is enjoying the both musics.

For last a week, he and his mother stayed at our house.

Planting potatoes

Yesterday, I did the planting potatoes at the small backyard.

There were the moved strawberries for this year.

These are the sprout of potato.

There is not enough sunshine for plantation.

But we had unexpected harvest around here.
So I tried to do that here.

This lizard just waked up from the hibernation with the toad four days ago.

It seems this toad just wake up from hibernation.

I found it yesterday.

Is it the same toad which I found last year? May be not.

#03 weed and Tosday"s harvest

It's called Nazuna "ナズナ", PenPenGusa"ペンペングサ" in Japanese.

English name may be Shepherd's purse.

And this is today's harvest. the mustard family.

Before harvest

Our daughter's family came to here with our grandson yesterday

by driving a red car which you can see in this picture.

They stayed at our home but her husband has come back to Tokyo alone.

After harvest

Last time was ten days ago at same place.

It's warm winter.

Last year blooming of this was on 5/April.
