Ice Up in the Spring

It's was very cold from mid night yesterday till the early morning.

So water in the bucket froze.

But it did not re-create the ice as upon a like the day.

It seems that Winter come back today!

#013 Bag flower (Genpei Kazura 源平かずら )

This is Genpei Kazura which came from my elder sister as container-grow plant at first last year.

But AyeYai forgot to water this plant, so it was barely alive.

She made me to remove it in the field last Sunday.
Now it's fine like this.

#011 Violet (Sumire スミレ すみれ)

These violets are in the parking area.

I can find out them third straight year in the same place.

Here is last year flower. Here is the plant two years ago.
They are very happy flowers!

Harvest #002-5 (a mustard family )

Today's harvest, it7s five times this year.

We have eaten them for dinner as a miso soup and Oshitashi.

#009 Sugar peas

I happened to find out a flower of the sugar peas this morning.

It's first time to see it.

I can see a few insect at this time of day, but I think it's not enough to pollinate the flower.
I worry about bringing forth fruit.

Germination of potatoes

I planted the potatoes at here last month, 22 February.

The seeds like them, so I did not expect the germination.
Because the shape of the potatoes like this picture.

When I found out these germination, I was impressed by vitality of the plant.

Today's harvest

I picked off them as a filling of Miso soup for the breakfast.
But AyeYai said to me that it's light as filling for the Miso soup.
So she added a radish with them in the Miso soup.

Haru no Awayuki (A light snowfall in sprig)

When I got up the morning.

There was a lot of snowfall on our garden.
Here is the snowfall one month ago.

We coll it a light snowfall in spring.

But we say it Haru no Awayuki in Japanese.
Haru(春) means Spring, Awa(淡) means light or (泡) means bubble and Yuki(雪) means Snow.

The following are landscapes this evening at pm 6:00.

The snowfall disappear like bubbles.

It's typical climate on this period.
