Lightweight drinker in elbow-benders

Yesterday I had a New Year's party with my three colleagues who are elbow-benders.
I usually go to work by my car, but I went to my office in our plant by a electrical train and walk for the party yesterday.
This is the electrical train.


This is a part of distillation equipment in the plant.

It takes for twenty-five minutes from a station to the plant.
This is the party place, Japanese style pub.


There are many kind of liquor in the pub.

Beer and a oolong-tea/distilled spirit, they are liquors for the party.
I tried the oolong tea and distilled spirit as lightweight drinker.
We have great time.

Flowers of the pheasant's eyes are starting to bloom.

Now they are growing another place in our garden.

Because the #1 peach run dry last year, so I cut down it and I moved them to another place in our garden.

The process of the three kind of rice-cakes.

We attended Don Don Yaki as new year event last Sunday.
We enjoyed the event, especially I did enjoy the three rice-cakes.
So I would like to introduce the process of the rice-cakes.

1 : steam mochi rice


2 : set the steamed rice in a rice mortar.


3 : knead the rice by beetle


4 : and knead more


5 : and them pound it by beetle


This is very fresh mochi.


6 : coat toasted soybean flour and bean jam, blend with grated radish


These are the rice-cakes.

Don Don Yaki means to pray for good health.


Offering Altarage, it's new year's event which was held yesterday.


These are altarage.


This is Don Don Yaki, Yaki means burning.

We burn some goods which were used by each one last year.

This is mochi pounding.

These are three kind of rice-cakes.

And amasake, it made of sake-cake.
We are able to enjoy these typical new year's foods at that day.
