Insect 007 (locust  イナゴ  Inago)

The insect is active locust. We found it yesterday morning.

It give a jump from the hose pipe to my hand.

Our grandson see it with interest.

Now he went back his home in the suburbs of Tokyo with his baby brother, his parents and us yesterday, and them I went back here this early morning.

Visitor from US

He stayed at our house as high school student for four months eight years ago.

Here is his one of his favorite place in our city.

He is good at Japanese. He can speak Japanese and write Chines character very well.
In addition he knows well Japanese culture, history, literature and old- fashion word.
Now he works for Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco US.

Too Late? (experiment farm)

I planted seed of corn yesterday thrice.
Is it too late?

A instruction of the corn seed says that the seed is improved variety.
It's OK to seed until last July.
So I did try that. Could I take in?

I did the corn a week ago at here after strawberry.

Out of door IKEBANA

Several Casa Blanca Lilies came into flower.

Aye Yai did do IKEBANA of the Casa Blanca Lily this morning at the drop of a hat.

It's her work, out of door IKEBANA!
They are breathing good smell.

We went to the Star Festival which is one of big event in our city.

In a left-to-right, Our daughter with her younger son, our grandson, Aye Yai.

There are a lot of food stall.
It seemed bread is better than the songs of birds.
