Japanese ginger (みょうが Miyoga)

I could not notice Japanese ginger having flower.

These Japanese gingers come out every years for more twenty years.

AyeYai she could not do that too.

These are exactly the flowers.

Of cause we enjoyed them as a kind of spice in miso soup this dinner.

Cucumber (遅咲きの胡瓜 キュウリ  Kyuri)

This is a late bloomer which is male flower of cucumber in our garden.

This is only one female flower.


We can not still find out any female flower on the cucumber.

It still young plant.

Thunderstorm came again! (雷雨再来)

It was thunderstorm yesterday evening again.
And the thunderstorm prostrated our plants in the yard.

Self-sufficient (自給自足 Jikyujisoku)

These are today's brunch for us.
Almost foods are from our garden.
Potatoes, Boiled soybean, Tomatoes, Peaches, Japanese basil juice,

and a brad with the strawberry jam.

Photography at lotus pond  (御婦人方の撮影会)

We went to a lotus pound for photography to shoot a damselfly last Saturday.

There were no body at the area except us.

It's just as I have thought.

They were feverishly at shoot.

She, AyeYai took a lot of pictures without regard for appearances.
These are damselflies which I shot. I like it.

But AyeYai did shoot many more beautiful pictures and posted them on her blog.

Today's lopping and harvest (今日の枝落しと収穫)

This is the #2 peach tree. I picked all peach on the tree in this early morning.


So I have cut down several brunches after that.

It's not too heavy.

These are today's harvests.

But some parts of these harvests were eaten by some bugs even though I covered them by the paper bags.
