Red Basil Juice


Recipe for Red Basil Juice

[Ingredients]
・Basil (red) leaves ------- 500-700g
・Sugar -------- 800g
・Lemon ------- 1 - 2
・Vinegar ------- 1 cup(200cc)
・Water -------- 1500-1800cc

[Procedure]
1 Pluck 500-700 basil leaves.
2 Clean thoroughly with water.
3 Boil the basil leaves in 1500-1800cc boiled water for 10 to 15 minutes.
4 Remove the leaves from the boiled water.
5 Squeeze the leaves; put back the juice into the boiled water.
6 Add Sugar, Lemon squeezed juice and vinegar.
7 Boil for a moment.

*If your basil leaf is Green:
Green basil will be OK for juice, however; color is not good.
In order to get pink color juice, you may want to use red basil 20% out of basil leaves.

So be careful your weight.
